Service Categories You Can List on Dipsea

Dipsea supports seven service categories for vendors. When you create a listing in the app you will pick one of these categories — the category determines which fields appear in your listing form and how travelers filter for your service.

1. Accommodation

For chalets, homestays, guesthouses, and boutique resorts. You can list multiple rooms per property, each with its own room type (entire place or private room), capacity, and pricing.

Key fields: room type, max guests, bedrooms, beds, bathrooms, quantity, amenities
Seasonal pricing: set both a low-season and a high-season rate
Policies: cancellation policy, check-in method, house rules

2. Activity

For guided experiences such as snorkeling tours, scuba diving, kayaking, jungle trekking, and cultural activities. You can specify duration, group size, and whether equipment is included.

3. Day Trip

For full-day packages that bundle transport, activities, and meals — e.g. island-hopping day tours with beach BBQ. Day trips typically run to a fixed schedule with set departure times.

4. Rental

For equipment or vehicles travelers can rent for a period of hours or days. Common rentals include bicycles, scooters, snorkel gear, and fishing equipment.

5. Island Taxi

For jetty pickups and short on-island transfers. Island taxi services are priced per route rather than per hour.

6. Ferry

For scheduled ferry services between mainland jetties and islands. Set fixed departure times and per-person pricing. You can publish multiple schedules per route.

7. Boat Transfer

For private boat charters and point-to-point transfers. Boat transfers are typically priced per boat rather than per person.

Can I List in Multiple Categories?

Yes. Many Dipsea vendors operate across categories — a resort may list both Accommodation and Activity (e.g. on-site diving) and even Boat Transfer for airport pickups. Each listing is managed independently in the vendor app.
