How to Become a Dipsea Vendor

Dipsea Island is Malaysia's dedicated island-travel platform that connects tourism service providers with travelers from Malaysia and around the world. Becoming a Dipsea vendor is free, takes only a few minutes to apply, and your account is typically verified within 24 hours.

This guide walks you through the full registration process, what documents to prepare, and what happens after you submit your application.

Who Can Register as a Dipsea Vendor?

Dipsea is open to any legitimate tourism service provider operating in Malaysia, with a focus on island and coastal destinations. Typical vendors include:

Accommodation operators — chalets, homestays, guesthouses, boutique resorts
Activity operators — snorkeling, diving, kayaking, island hopping
Transport providers — boat transfers, ferries, island taxis
Rental businesses — bikes, scooters, snorkel gear
Day trip operators — full-day island packages, beach BBQ, jungle treks

You must be a registered business or sole-proprietor in Malaysia and able to issue receipts for your services. International operators may apply but approval is evaluated case-by-case.

5 Steps to Register

Download the Dipsea app from the App Store or Google Play on your mobile device.
Open the app and tap "Vendor Login" at the bottom of the login screen. Toggle the Vendor Mode switch to access the vendor sign-up form.
Tap "Sign Up" and fill in your business name, email, and password. Make sure the email is one you check regularly — we use it for approval notifications.
Verify your email using the link we send you, then log in to the app.
Wait for approval — our team reviews each application and confirms your business is legitimate. Verification is typically complete within 24 hours.

What Happens After Approval?

Once your account is approved you will receive an email from Dipsea. You can then log in and start listing your services — see our Create a Listing guide. There are no upfront costs, no setup fees, and no monthly subscription. Dipsea only earns through a service fee charged separately to customers at checkout, so you receive 100% of the price you list.
