How Pricing Works for Dipsea Vendors
Dipsea pricing is intentionally simple: you list the price you want to receive, and that is what we pay out. There is no commission deducted from vendor payouts — Dipsea earns through a service fee charged separately to the customer at checkout.
List the Net Price You Want to Earn
When you enter your price in the listing wizard, enter the amount you want to actually receive in your bank account after the booking is completed.
Example:
- You want to receive RM100 from each booking.
- Enter RM100 in the price field.
- Dipsea adds its service fee on top when displaying the price to customers.
- You still receive RM100 — 100% of what you listed.
If you previously sold this service at RM120 through a travel agent who took a RM20 commission, remove the RM20 and list your net RM100. Dipsea handles the fee side separately so you don't need to do any math.
Low Season and High Season Pricing
Malaysian island travel is highly seasonal. Dipsea supports two base rates per listing:
- Low Season Price — your standard rate during quieter months (generally November to February for East Coast islands during the monsoon).
- High Season Price — your peak-season rate (March through October for East Coast islands, year-round for West Coast islands like Langkawi).

The app automatically applies the correct rate based on the travel dates the customer selects. You do not need to manually update prices when seasons change.
Published Price vs. Your Price
The published price shown to customers on the listing page may be slightly higher than the price you listed — this is because Dipsea's customer-facing service fee is calculated and displayed at checkout. Your payout per booking is always the price you listed.
Changing Your Prices
You can edit your low-season and high-season rates at any time from the Edit screen of your listing. New prices apply to bookings made after the change. Existing confirmed bookings retain the price they were booked at — this protects both you and the traveler.
Discounts and Promotions
Dipsea occasionally runs marketing promotions (e.g. launch discounts, holiday sales) that can help you get more bookings. Participation is opt-in and never affects the net price you receive — Dipsea absorbs the discount from its own service fee.
So Dipsea Takes No Commission from Vendors?
Correct. Dipsea does not deduct any percentage from your vendor payout. The platform earns exclusively through a service fee charged to the customer at checkout. This is why we say "list the price you want to earn" — that is the exact amount you receive.
